Analysis Paper Proposal

Analysis Paper Proposal

Q Select a current issue in the field of Life-Span Development, then submit a proposal for your final analysis paper. It needs to be at least one paragraph in length. The proposal must include the name of your topic as well (you don’t have to have a specific title, but you need a brief name/subject). You can choose an issue/topic that affects you personally or an issue/topic that interests you. Remember it needs to relate back to psychology, so try to avoid argumentative style papers; you want to focus on the developmental factors and then the other secondary factors that go into your topic. While you are choosing a topic, be sure to take a look over different journal articles/publications that you can possibly use. The best resource to use is the psychology databases via the library (which can be found here). You will want to make sure there is adequate research to back up what you wish to write on, as you will have to have at least 4 scholarly sources for the final paper. Approval will be received in the comments area of your graded assignment, along with any other feedback your professor feels necessary to improve your topic. Write your proposal in a Word document and submit it using the upload tool below. Use this naming protocol for your proposal: LastnameFirstnameProposal

The current issue that I have selected for the final analysis paper is the understanding of the associations between childhood obesity and a particular parenting style. Thus, the focus would be on finding “Is there any relationship exists between childhood obesity and a particular parenting style”. Childhood Obesity is a serious medical condition that affects children and adolescents. Thus, the targeted population for the study would be children and adolescents. Parents play a critical role in their children's lifestyle habits.
